What kinds of products do you use?
Most of our products are eco-friendly hospital-grade cleaning products. We do not use any bleach or products with strong chemicals or other scents. Your home will look and feel clean after we’ve been there and you can rest assured it will not smell.

Should I tip my cleaners?
Tipping is not required but always appreciated by our cleaning technicians. There are a couple of ways you can leave a tip for your cleaner.
You can leave a cash tip at the time of cleaning, be sure to make it obvious it is for the cleaner.
If you would like, you can notify the office and we can add it to your credit card payment. We make sure that the cleaning technician knows that these tips are added.

What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee policy?
At Maid Spotless Cleaning Services we guarantee all of our work. If you are dissatisfied with anything we do, simply Call within 48 hours of the cleaning and we will come back and make it right.
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds as our satisfaction guarantee ensures you will have the finished product you desired at no cost to you.
Do you give a referral bonus?
Another way to share your experience is to tell your friends how happy you are with your service. We will give you a 10% discount off your next cleaning as a thank you. There is no limit to the number of discounts you can receive.
How do I pay for my service?

At the time of booking, we will collect your payment information. Our customer management is integrated with Stripe. We accept all major credit cards. All credit cards are run the same day of service.

How can I share my experience with Maid Spotless Cleaning Services?
All praises you give your cleaning technician via Google, Facebook, HomeAdvisor, Yelp, etc… will earn them a $10 bonus in your name. All praise will be passed on to your cleaning technician! My Service

What should I do before Maid Spotless Cleaning arrives?
To ensure maximum efficiency, we ask that you take a few minutes to pick up any extra clothing, papers, toys, or household items that may be around your home. We can definitely clean more if we can access more of your home. Certainly, we understand this is not always possible and in those situations, we will work around these items, not a problem.
What should I do with my pets at the time of cleaning?
We are proud to be a pet-friendly company. If your pet is friendly and ok with us being in the house, then we love to have them there. Let us know any special details you’d like. If the pet may be aggressive, we recommend you leave them outside or in a gated area to ensure the safety of our cleaning technician.
Is there anything you won’t do?

 

Our professional house cleaning services are designed to keep your home comfortable and clean. We customize services to accommodate your preferences, so you never have to worry about paying for a service you don’t need or want.
To ensure we provide your home with the highest quality of care, we don’t:

Clean toys
Clean inside of your fireplace
Pick up clutter
Clean chandeliers
Move or lift anything over 15 lbs
Step higher than 2 steps on a step stool
Clean biohazards (mold, blood, bodily fluids)
Wipe bulbs and glass fixtures
Clean cat litter or other animal droppings
Clean anything outside your home including the garage
Clean insects/rodents/ rodent droppings
Clean walls
Wash exterior windows
Clean inside cabinets or drawers-except for move-in/out cleanings

 

Do I need to provide your team with my own cleaning equipment or supplies?
We provide each client with their own cleaning kit. This includes all the tools that we use in your home. We leave it at your home so you know that we are not using it at any other house. This is our way of ensuring no cross-contamination due to tools. We ask that you wash the cleaning cloths in hot water and bleach and dry with no fabric softener. We do ask that you have toilet brushes by every toilet in the house and let us know where your store your vacuum.
How often can you provide service?
Maid Spotless Cleaning Services is happy to provide services daily, once a week, every other week, or once a month (every 4 weeks), depending on your cleaning needs. You can also request house cleaning services for special events, as well as sale prep and move-out/ move-in cleaning assistance. Because we work on a no-contract basis, you can update or change your cleaning plan to fit your busy schedule, budget, and cleaning needs.
What if there are areas of my house I do not want to clean?
We want to offer a service that fits your situation. If you have areas you do not want to be cleaned, simply keep those doors closed or contact our office so we can update your work order about this.
How do I cancel or reschedule my cleaning?

To cancel any cleaning appointment, please Call our office. In order to give your cleaning technician appropriate notice and possibly book another cleaning, we ask that you provide us with 24 business hour notice to avoid our 50% cancellation fee.

Trust & Safety

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

We do everything we can to ensure our employees are trustworthy and honest by thoroughly screening applicants and running criminal background checks prior to hiring. To be on the safe side though, we ask that you do your part by securing items of significant sentimental or monetary value prior to your scheduled cleaning. All of our cleaners are insured and bonded.

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?
If any goes wrong during your appointment, your cleaning technician will immediately contact the office to notify us and we will contact you. If you notice that something went wrong, please Call our office.
Quality- If you are not happy with your cleaning for any reason, please Call the office within 48 hours of your cleaning and we will make arrangements to make it right.
Breakage- Our cleaning technicians are extremely careful with our customer’s belongings. However, accidents can happen. When they do, our policy is to inform you immediately. We will pay up to $100 per breakage item when the value is verified. Please move expensive figurines, art, and glassware to a safe location when we are in your home to clean. Or you can contact our office to let us know what items we should avoid if that isn’t possible.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. We carry general liability and all of our cleaning technicians are bonded and covered under workers compensation. We take the security of your home very seriously and do everything we can to make sure we are all protected.
Am I liable for employment taxes, workers' compensation, or insurance?
No. Maid Spotless Cleaning Services is proud to be a worry-free housecleaning service solution. This means that we take care of any personal liability with regard to social security taxes and work-related injuries. We are fully insured and bonded and all of our staff are covered under New York state workers comp insurance. This means you have nothing to worry about.
